Aguardiente ~ An Ethnic Distinction For High Alcohol Spirits

Specifically, aguardiente refers to any grain spirit with a high alcohol level between 29 and 45% alcohol. Realistically speaking, this can include any number of spirits, and not just those from Mexican or Colombian origin. In this section, Great Spirits is referring to the diverse selection of Spanish, Colombian, Mexican and various ethnic spirits. This includes Aguardiente itself along with Cachaca.

Cachaca is a distinct alcoholic beverage ranging between 38% and 54% ABV. Originally distilled from previously used sugarcane, Cachaca undergoes a secondary distillilation and refermentation process similar to rum which also imparts a similar rum flavor.

If when browsing out diverse selection you do not see the Aguardiente spirit of your choice, ask, and we will gladly see if it is something Great Spirits can get in for you.
