Dating back as far tas the 14th century, Ouzo as a distilled spirit and liqueur is enjoyed the most in the caribbean, especially Greeze. In October in of 2006, Greeze won the right to call Ouzo a Greek national drink. This means that this particular liqueur cannot be called Ouzo if it is made outside of Greece. Rich, flavorful, and delicate all at once, Ouzo is a classic anise (licorice) flavored liqueur that rivals even Absinthe and Sambuca in its popularity. Enjoy it neat in a shot, mixed with water, or as a delictable treat with raspberry syrup and lemonade. However your pleasure, Ouzo is a unique, sophisticated drink. If you do not see the Ouzo of your choice while at Great Spirits, ask, we will gladly see if we can get it in for you.
